Welcome to a once winter wonderland, now a melted ski resort of watery fun. As the story goes Blizzard Beach was once a short lived ski resort created by a freak storm over the western side of Walt Disney World. The plan for the new resort was short lived as high Floridian temperatures quickly melted down the new idea, leaving the owners ready to completely close the park. Thanks to the shenanigans of a playful alligator found sliding down the liquid ice slopes it quickly became apparent that the melting snow and ice has in fact created the tallest, fastest and most exhilarating water filled ski and toboggan runs in the world. Blizzard Beach was now in full effect. The tropical sunshine mixed with the ever melting range created a fantastic mixture of fun perfect for such a water park.
